About Dr. Ronald Rosen

I am a medical doctor who lived and practiced medicine in Oregon and California for 31 years. I have recently moved back to my native country of Mexico, and I live in Ajijic, Jalisco. I have been board certified in internal medicine and in medical acupuncture. A Mexico City native, I earned my medical degree at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

I completed a residency in internal medicine at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta,Georgia and a clinical critical care fellowship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Then, while working as an emergency room physician in California, I discovered a passion for holistic medicine and started developing the integrative approach to medicine that led to my present practice.

I have since trained extensively in Medical Acupuncture, osteopathic medicine including biodynamic cranial osteopathy, functional and nutritional therapies, and specialized injections such as PRP, stem cells and Prolotherapy. I believe in teaching and encouraging patients to take responsibility of their health and be a partner in their healing journey.
